Plan lifecycle
The plan lifecycle is the set of explicit stages an executive's day moves through in Cadence: Draft, Proposed, Approved, Active and Closed, so every change has clear ownership and status.
Coordination by email and chat hides who owns what and when. The plan lifecycle makes it explicit. A day starts as a Draft, is Proposed by the EA, is Approved by the executive, becomes Active as the day runs, and is Closed at the end with completed work logged and unfinished work carried forward.
Because every transition is recorded, the executive and EA always share the same view of where the day stands, and the handoff between them is auditable rather than remembered.

EA delegation is the structured handoff between an executive and their executive assistant. In Cadence the EA proposes the plan and the executive approves it, so delegation is explicit and auditable rather than managed by email and memory.
Executive orchestration is the practice of coordinating an executive's time, focus, priorities and commitments as a single system, usually between the executive and their EA, rather than managing each in a separate tool.
The Brief is Cadence's daily briefing, built overnight from the executive's calendar, inbox, sent items and yesterday's transcripts, and on screen by 6am so the day starts already planned.
